For God So Loved the World
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.”
JOHN 3:16Discover the love of God, the truth of Jesus Christ, and the promise of eternal life.
What Is the Gospel?
The Gospel is the good news of Jesus Christ.
God created us for His glory, yet all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Sin separates us from Him, and we cannot save ourselves through our own works.
But God, in His love and mercy, sent His Son, Jesus Christ, who lived without sin, died for our sins, and rose again on the third day.
Through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ, we receive forgiveness of sins and the promise of eternal life. Salvation is by God's grace, not something we can earn.
Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day, according to the Scriptures.
1 CORINTHIANS 15:3–4“Your word is truth.”
JOHN 17:17Who Is Jesus Christ?
Jesus Christ is the Son of God, the eternal Word who became flesh, and the Savior of the world.
He is not merely a teacher or prophet. Scripture reveals that He is the eternal Son of God, who came into the world to reveal the Father, accomplish salvation, and give eternal life to those who believe in Him.
The Eternal Word
Before creation, the Word already existed. The Word was with God, and the Word was God. Jesus Christ is the eternal Word through whom all things were made.
God Became Flesh
The eternal Son entered His own creation and dwelt among us. Jesus Christ is truly God and truly man, revealing the glory, grace, and truth of the Father.
Our Lord and Savior
Jesus Christ lived without sin, gave His life for our sins, and rose from the dead on the third day. Through Him alone comes salvation.
The Way to the Father
Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Him. Eternal life is found in the Son of God.
“I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.”
To know Jesus Christ is to know the One sent by the Father. He is worthy of our faith, our obedience, and our lives.
